Who is American medical cannabis?

Medical Practitioner
ACCM Medical Practitioner Member: Individuals and organizations that work directly or indirectly with patients benefiting from use of medical cannabis, and aligned membership groups serving individuals in medical cannabis. Medical Practitioner Members can serve on ACCM’s standing committees and ACCM’s National Leadership Advisory Board.  

Researcher
  ACCM Medical Researcher Member: Individuals and organizations working directly or indirectly in research for development and use of medical cannabis, or with groups focused on specialized areas of medical research, and institutions supporting their research work. Researcher Members can serve on ACCM’s standing committees and ACCM’s National Leadership Advisory Board.   

Medical Cannabis Producers/Processors and Products
 ACCM Producer/Processor Members are organizations growing or processing medical-cannabis products under a valid license in a U.S state or territory. Many producer/processors are vertically integrated handling growing through distribution. Producer Members can serve on ACCM’s standing committees and ACCM’s National Leadership Advisory Board.   

Dispensary, Pharmacy Distributors Organizations
 ACCM Distributor Members are firms who are pure dispensary, pharmacy, or distributors of medical cannabis. Dispensary, Distributor/Pharmacy Members can serve on ACCM's standing committees and ACCM’s National Leadership Advisory Board.  

Allied Industry Members, Media, Patient/Use Groups
   Allied Industry Members are firms who supply primary members with goods or professional services that help advance the medical-cannabis industry. Additionally, members of the media and select interested supporting parties are also allied industry members. ACCM’s Allied Members can serve on the Allied Industry Council, standing committees and the ACCM’s National Leadership Advisory Board.
